In 2010, FIFA voted to put the 2022 World Cup games in Qatar. What has resulted, in the wake of this decision, is one of the greatest human rights atrocities of this century. Qatar has been using slave labor to build the stadiums and infrastructure for the 2022 games.
Additionally, every time that a human rights monitor or news gathering organization has gone into the country to document these human rights abuses, they have been detained and forcefully removed from the country.
This website and the upcoming petition is aimed at those responsible for this atrocity and the continued cover up of modern day slavery.
Please send a message to the below corporations that we will not stand for this. In the coming weeks, we will release additional information on this site regarding the corporate sponsors of the 2022 World Cup, and how to most effectively boycott their products to strike a blow against the use of slave labor.
Qatar is one of the richest nations in the world, and could have paid their workers a living wage. However, in choosing to be complicit in the use of slave labor, we cannot allow the sponsors of these games off the hook.
Let’s be clear: the sponsors have the blood of the estimated 1,200 workers who have died and all future deaths associated with the use of slave labor in Qatar.
